I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Kellie Little and I have been working as a Graphic Designer for over 20 years. have worked for large companies, freelance for myself and even Government design projects.
Technology is an important part of any workplace and from working as a graphic designer I have become very computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook and Excel as well as many other programs listed in my resume. I have received addition training on equipment and programs to keep up to date with technology.
In my time with the Department and from running my own successful business I have gained experience meeting and building a rapport with new customers either in person or on the phone. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good people skills and love interacting with customers and fellow staff. I enjoy working in a team but can work by myself if needed as well. From working in a public service role as well as my own business I understand the need to always maintain a professional manner and be professionally presented, with clean and tidy appearance.
I love to learn new skills and enjoy training. I have completed the Avery Dennison Advanced Vehicle Wrapping Workshop. When I started both my Cake and Resin businesses, I had minimal experience field and learnt quickly everything I needed to know and then from there was successful in my endeavours. I currently own a Resin Art Business and work as a freelance Graphic Designer. I have experience working with Adobe software and use it daily.
For 3 years I held the position of Overseer of Cessnock CSI Print Business Unit. In that time, I acted up to Senior Overseer where I was responsible for the supervision, accountability, training, and instruction of inmate employees working in the daily operations of the Cessnock Print Business Unit. In this role I worked with the Fuji Xerox Digital Printer & Konica Minolta Digital Printer. I was reasonable for training and maintenance of these machines.
